Arc welding robot A general arc welding robot is composed of a teaching box, a control panel, the robot body, an automatic wire feeding device, and a welding power supply. Continuous trajectory control and point control can be realized under computer control. You can also use linear interpolation and arc interpolation functions to weld space welds composed of straight lines and arcs. There are two main types of arc welding robots: melting electrode welding operations and non-melting electrode welding operations. They have the characteristics of long-term welding operations and ensuring high productivity, high quality and high stability of welding operations. With the development of technology, arc welding robots are developing in an intelligent direction.
The basic components of the arc welding robot system are as follows: robot body, control system, teaching pendant, welding power source, welding gun, welding fixture, and safety protection facilities.
The system composition can also selectively expand the following devices according to the different welding methods and the different welding process requirements of the specific workpiece to be welded: wire feeder, gun cleaning and wire cutting device, cooling water tank, flux conveying and recovery device (in SAW), mobile device, welding positioner, sensing device, dust removal device, etc.
Features of arc welding robot:
(1) Stabilize and improve welding quality and ensure its uniformity. When robot welding is used, the welding parameters for each weld are constant, and the quality of the weld is less affected by human factors, which reduces the requirements for workers' operating skills, so the welding quality is stable. In manual welding, the welding speed, dry elongation, etc. all change, so it is difficult to achieve uniform quality.
(2) Improved the working conditions of workers. Robot welding workers are only used to load and unload workpieces, away from the welding arc light, smoke and splash, etc.
(3) Improve labor productivity. The robot has no fatigue and can produce continuously 24 hours a day. In addition, with the application of high-speed and efficient welding technology, the efficiency of robot welding has been improved even more significantly.
(4) The product cycle is clear and product output is easy to control. The production rhythm of the robot is fixed, so the production plan is very clear.
(5) It can shorten the product replacement cycle and reduce the corresponding equipment investment. It can realize welding automation of small batch products. The biggest difference between a robot and a special machine is that it can modify the program to adapt to the production of different workpieces.

(1) Arc welding robot system optimization and integration technology: The arc welding robot adopts AC servo drive technology and high-precision, high-rigidity RV reducer and harmonic reducer, which has good low-speed stability and high-speed dynamic response, and can achieve maintenance-free functions.
(2) Coordination control technology: Control the coordinated movement of multiple robots and positioners, which can not only maintain the relative posture of the welding gun and the workpiece to meet the requirements of the welding process, but also avoid collisions between the welding gun and the workpiece.
(3) Accurate welding seam tracking technology: Combining the advantages of offline working methods of laser sensors and visual sensors, laser sensors are used to realize welding seam tracking during the welding process, improving the flexibility and adaptability of welding robots for welding complex workpieces. Combined with offline observation of visual sensors to obtain the residual deviation of welding seam tracking, compensation data is obtained based on deviation statistics and the robot motion trajectory is corrected, so that better welding quality can be obtained under various working conditions.
